Sahih Bukhari, “Book of Virtues” Chapter 65.3304. It is related from Abu Hurayra that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “You will find people to be like mines. The best of them in the Jahiliyya are the best of them in Islam when they have understanding. You will find the best of people in this business (of command) to be those who dislike it the most, and you will find the worst of people are the two-faced who come to these people with one face and those people with another face.”

Moon-sighting for Ramadan 1432H in Malaysia

The date for sighting the new moon to determine the beginning of the fasting month for Muslims throughout the country will be on the afternoon of Sunday, July 31st 2011, which is equivalent to 29th Sha’ban 1432 AH.

31 locations throughout the country have been set as the place to sight the new moon of Ramadan, which are as follows.
